NeighbourhoodCheck ("we", "us", "our") provides neighbourhood due-diligence reports for Australian home buyers, renters, and property professionals. By using our website, purchasing a service, or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Nature of Our Service

NeighbourhoodCheck provides informational reports only, based on public information, observations from public spaces, desk research, and publicly available datasets.

We do not:

• Enter private property without permission
• Speak to neighbours on your behalf
• Provide financial, legal, or investment advice
• Guarantee future noise levels, neighbour behaviour, crime, or environmental conditions

Our reports are based on best-effort observations during the times selected. Conditions may change at any time and are outside our control.

3. Eligibility

To purchase a service you must:

• Be 18 years or older
• Provide accurate information
• Not use our reports to harass or intimidate any individual

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD). Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment provider (e.g., Stripe).

We reserve the right to update prices at any time. Any changes will apply to new orders only.

5. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery timeframes are displayed during checkout. These are best estimates only and may vary due to:

• Weather
• Traffic or access limitations
• Safety concerns
• Last-minute address changes by the customer

Delays do not qualify for automatic refunds.

6. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide the correct address and contact details
• Ensure the property can be accessed from public streets
• Use the report responsibly and legally

7. Refunds & Cancellations

Because our work requires time and labour, refunds follow this policy:

• Before desk research begins: Full refund
• After desk research but before site visit: 50% refund
• After site visit begins: No refund

If we cannot complete a report for safety reasons or access issues, we will notify you and provide a partial refund at our discretion.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not responsible for decisions made using our reports.
• We do not guarantee accuracy or future conditions.
• Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service.

NeighbourhoodCheck will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Intellectual Property

All reports, photos, videos, and analysis we produce are the intellectual property of NeighbourhoodCheck. You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own decision-making.

You may not:

• Resell our reports
• Publish them publicly
• Share them with third-party services
• Reverse engineer or copy our templates

10. Account & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used in a way that risks harm to others.

11. Privacy

Your use of our service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
